Meet Yazmin!
My name is Yazmin Cruz and welcome to this ministry! I am the founder of Who We Are In Christ Ministry. This ministry all started when I grew my passion and relationship with Jesus. But once before I was a young girl, teen and young adult who was lost and absolutely was conformed to this world. I sought after everything except for Christ. The things the world offered I found myself after it all! Money, boys, weed and social acceptance. Partying, clubbing and being in the scene was once my jam. I found this to be my identity, having "fun" with the crowds and always wanting to 'get into something'. Then tragedy started to come down on me. I got arrested twice, tickets after tickets, and I found myself hanging with the wrong crowds.. like really bad ones that wanted to physically harm me (with guns). Yeah maybe there will be a book about those stories one day. There's a lot of evil that this world has to offer.
Now I seek after Jesus Christ and what His heart was set on when he came down in the form of mankind to tell us about which is the Kingdom of God! The good news has came and is here now, so now I've dedicated my life to help pass along the message of the gospel. All Glory to God! I'm thankful to be alive and have made it out of those real life trenches truly by the strength of the Lord!
Meet Azaire!
Ms. Azaire is my dear sister in Christ. We connected through a 40 day fast. Well, she connected with me, and being an introvert myself, I wasn't going to reach out to anyone for an accountability parter. But this was absolutely ordained by God and I thank Him often for this new endeavor in life of having a dear sister in Christ! I knew I had to get out of my comfort zone and this was a start of a new journey I needed to embark on for our savior Jesus! I can't spread the good news to just myself by being an introvert lol!
Here's a bit about her personal story with starting her walk with Christ!
Hello , I’m Azaire. I am going to start off with thanking the man above for everything He has done for me & for the things that lie ahead. I’ve came a longgg way in a short amount of time, I was struggling to get the funds for my bills in June stressed & depressed looking for more income. I had over 15 interviews but didn’t get one job offer. I was doing everything I could in my own hands but trusting in Him, until I was 10 days late on my rent, well at least I THOUGHT I was… I called my leasing office to see how much my eviction fee was going to be, the lady was confused on what I was talking about she had said my rent wasn’t late it was already paid. I was like that's not possible because I haven’t made a payment yet.. she said yes it was paid (BY OTHER MEANS on June 28th) I was speechless but the only person that came to mind was JESUS I was crying tears of joy ! THANK YOU JESUS! Keep your eyes ahead and keep on going in faith. God sees you in your weakest and darkest moments. I was so in shock, I literally gave my life over to Christ on that following Sunday July 16th of 2023. When I say I did a whole 180, I stopped smoking and drinking and I thought it was going be hard, but It was truly by the grace of God that I was set free from these things in less then 30 days . One month later I went on a corporate fast for 40 days and when I tell you the Lord had showed out. I had so many breakthroughs, from leaving my toxic job of 6 years stepping out on faith and trusting God and getting approved for an apartment on the 1st try! Only having to pay half of my deposit to move in I was like loook at God ! Whew Amen! This is why I give thanks to Him in each and every moment because He has never failed me!
